By using ThreadAlchemy (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to course enrollments, downloads, community areas, and any related features provided through our course platform.
Use of Service
The Service provides online learning content focused on clothing customization, garment finishing, and related creative techniques. You may use the Service for personal learning or business skill-building.
You must follow any instructions presented within the course player, community guidelines, and instructor notes. We may update or improve the Service over time, including adding or removing certain features.
Accounts & Security
Some parts of the Service require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential.
- Do not share your account with others, unless your plan explicitly permits multi-seat usage.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or a security incident.

Not allowed
- Copying, recording, or redistributing lessons without permission.
- Sharing download links or course access with unauthorized users.

- Harassment, hate speech, or posting unlawful content.
Allowed
- Taking notes and applying techniques to your own garments.
- Sharing your finished work and crediting inspiration appropriately.
- Asking questions in community areas respectfully.
- Using templates where the course explicitly grants permission.
Payments
Prices are displayed at checkout. If we show approximate currency conversions, they are provided for convenience and may differ from your bank’s exchange rate. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
- Subscription plans (if offered) renew automatically until canceled.
- One-time purchases provide access as described on the course page at the time of purchase.
- If a payment fails, access may be paused until the balance is resolved.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund window from the purchase date for eligible courses, provided that less than 20% of the course has been completed.
Refund eligibility checklist
- Request is submitted within 14 days of purchase.
- Course progress is under 20% at the time of request.
- No evidence of content redistribution or access abuse.
Intellectual Property
Course videos, patterns, written lessons, and platform design are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. ThreadAlchemy (and/or its licensors) retains all rights not expressly granted to you.
Unless explicitly stated in a course license, you may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from course materials. Limited personal downloads are permitted when the Service provides a download feature for that asset.
Community Content
If the Service includes community areas (comments, project galleries, discussions), you are responsible for content you post. Do not upload confidential information, and ensure you have rights to share any images, patterns, or text.
By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the Service for community and learning purposes, including moderation and promotion of community highlights within the platform.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, attempted to misuse the platform, or caused harm to other learners or the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund unless the refund criteria are met.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free lessons, or specific outcomes. Creative results vary based on materials, tools, and individual skill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThreadAlchemy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws based on your region and our operating jurisdiction. Consumer rights that cannot be waived by law remain unaffected.
If a court determines that any portion of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
